About Komal Gala
I am a Bachelor of Commerce graduate with a strong foundation in business, finance, and organizational management. Alongside my academic journey, I have been an active and dedicated member of the Rotaract Club for five years, during which I have had the privilege of serving in key leadership roles including Secretary, Vice President, and President.
Throughout my tenure, I have successfully led and participated in a wide range of impactful projects spanning community service, international collaboration, personal development, and inter-school as well as inter-club activities. Notable initiatives under my leadership include support and outreach programs for old age homes, fundraising and volunteer efforts for the RSPCA, polio eradication drives, and environmental activities such as plantation drives.
With a career spanning over two decades in the banking industry since 1999, I bring extensive experience across key areas such as Customer Service, Sales, Settlements, and Compliance. My professional journey has been built on integrity, attention to detail, and a strong commitment to delivering results while maintaining high standards of customer care and regulatory adherence.
Outside of my corporate role, I am deeply passionate about community service. Together with three close friends, I co-founded B’Cause, a community-focused organization dedicated to supporting individuals in need—directly and without intermediaries. Our mission is to provide timely, effective help that reaches people at the grassroots level.
My passion for service also reflects in my personal pursuits. I enjoy dancing and travelling, both of which allow me to connect with diverse cultures and perspectives. A sports enthusiast at heart, I’ve represented my school and college in hockey and am an avid follower of cricket.
Driven by purpose in both my professional and personal life, I take pride in contributing meaningfully—whether through my work in banking or initiatives that uplift the community.
